Jamie saw to it that the old ashmead Syndicate days ended on a real high by getting three runs at once on the final morning and landing all three carp. The mirrors Moonscale at 43+, Blackeye at 31+ and The Long Common at a new high of 42lb 15 oz.....

Congratulations Joe Blair. I think this is one of the finest winter captures ever. A bleak mid-February day, ice on large parts of the lake and one of the largest carp in the country landed. 57lb 12oz and looking in the peak of good health. Wonderful!

A string of big commons from the lake.... Razorback at 37.08, Rags at 36.12, Petals at 38+, Psst at 38.08.... It's been a great spring!

Terry Hearn landed JC a couple of weeks ago at 40lb 10oz. She looked stunning and went back strongly....

Keith Jones added another stunning common to the list of big spring captures when he landed the razorback at a new best weight of 37.08 yesterday afternoon....

Heady with a rarely caught 29.10 common. He caught from an obscure spot in one of the channels that is little fished.
How a carp can get to this size without being caught regularly is beyond me. But it's that element of mystery and surprise that I love most about owning the water....

Si fisher landed three commons over two nights this week: Petals at 39.12, Gray's Common at 27.09 and Psst at 38lb. Simply stunning.....
